'Black Op' Shiraz Saperavi Review by Gary Walsh from The Wine Front

Date Posted:24 September 2012

“I’d hate to spill this one on my cream slacks, I can tell you. Leather and chocolate cake studded with black jelly beans and a pepper/spice overlay. It’s full bodied, dry and tannic with somewhat intrusive acidity, and has attractive Black Forest cake flavour, even though it doesn’t taste sweet – more earthy and ferrous.

Interesting. Bold. Not for the faint hearted. Needs a bit of time.” Gary Walsh from The Wine Front
