Help Bail Me Out for a Good Cause

I need your help.

On Friday the 19th May I went to the Adelaide Gaol. Not to worry, it was not a permanent visit, but it was for a very good cause. As some of you may or may not know I am a big supporter of the Whitelion Association, a not-for-profit organisation that is dedicated to giving all young people equal opportunity.

A particular focus for Whitelion is working with underprivileged children, especially those who have experienced the less glamorous side of our legal system. That is why, every year, Whitelion host the Whitelion Annual Bail Out Event. This event aims to help some of the most powerful members of the business world understand what is faced by the least powerful, most vulnerable young people of our community. Participants will be stripped of their possessions, fingerprinted, photographed and subjected to interrogation. Participants then appear in front of a Magistrate in a mock court proceeding before being sentenced to cell time.

I participated in this year’s Bail Out Event and it was an incredible experience. If you feel as strongly about this cause as I do, you can help by donating to my bail here.

For more information on the event please visit Whitelion’s event page here.
